Scripture Sunday: A life rooted in God is a life that flourishes. 🌳

known50

Psalm 1:3 paints a picture of stability, nourishment, and fruitfulness—a tree planted by streams of water, thriving in every season. When we stay connected to Him, we don’t have to strive. Our growth is sustained, our fruit comes in its time, and our strength doesn’t fade.

Marlene Allen shared in our Wisdom Keepers series how Psalm 1 gives us a powerful picture of what it means to be an elder—deeply rooted, steady, and life-giving. Just like a tree planted by streams of water, elders provide stability, nourishment, and shade for those around them.

When we stay connected to God, we don’t have to chase after fruit—it comes in its season. Our role isn’t about "busy doing", but "stable being".

✨ How is God inviting you to grow deep roots in this season?
